Testimonials
"As the President of the 2019-20 BVCDC Management Committee, I was concerned when our governance standards were questioned by a member. The Covid 19 lockdown and the period prior to the election of the next Management Committee seemed an ideal time for reflection and review of our procedures. The offer of a health check, services, and assistance from qualified professionals from NFP House under the Gladstone NFP COVID-19 Recovery Program seemed most opportune. We have not been disappointed.
During August and September, Lyndal Hansen advised and supported the outgoing committee to deepen its understanding of the constitution and ensure a fully compliant Management Committee election was conducted in October. Sufficient support hours were left for training of the incoming committee, and a planning session to develop a Strategic Plan for the coming year.
We now look forward to continuing our community work with a united and informed committee and a new friend, NFP House."
Margaret Pengelly, Boyne Valley Community Discovery Centre

"Our management committee were fortunate to work with the very knowledgeable Lyndal at NFP House. Over the last few months our committee have been working towards a clear strategic plan for the future growth of this swimming club. We will continue to build and grow our working relationship with this wonderful organisation, set up to support clubs just like ours to grow, prosper and serve our community."
Gladstone Gladiators Swimming Club
"On behalf of the Gladstone Model Aero Club, I would like to thank you Dana and your staff from the Not-For-Profit House for the support and goods donated by local organisations to our club.
I initially was somewhat ignorant of the services provided by NFP House, but am ever so grateful I looked a little harder into your activities. For it has been a worthwhile endeavor on our part to become involved with this fine organisation that provides a valuable service to local clubs like ours.
Our club has benefitted from a little effort on my part to make ourselves known to the NFP House, an easy process itself, made all the more worthwhile with the professional approach to your work and timely notices on upcoming donations from local organisations. Not only do you offer items a second home for those clubs in need, you also happily promote such to the wider community.
From the management committee and members of the Gladstone Model Aero Club, we thank you for your assistance and I for one hope our association with the NFP House will continue into the future."
Paul Dowley, Gladstone Model Aero Club Inc.
"I recently attended two very informative Grant Writing workshops, hosted by Glenn Butcher, and Shell QGC in conjunction with NFP House (Lorna & Lyndal respectively). It’s only now I have a better understanding of what’s required to be a successful grant applicant.
I would like to thank NFP House for all the persistence, encouragement and most importantly their willingness to give not only me, but other not-for-profit organisations the expertise required to go forward and be successful.
In addition to the above, whenever I call into NFP House, I feel welcomed by other staff. Dana & Ashlee your willingness to help, whether with RSL or QCWA, and your friendliness shine through. Between you all, you’ve made me believe, “Yes I can do this”.
Thank you so much NFP House on behalf of Mount Larcom RSL and Mt Larcom QCWA."
Cyndie Feros, Mount Larcom RSL and Mt Larcom QCWA
