On December 3rd, NFP House held an incredible end-of-year event to reflect on our impact in the community and celebrate thriving together. We greatly appreciate everyone who attended to support us, including individuals, community organisations and supporters – we had a packed house! We were thrilled to share with the community everything that we’ve accomplished in 2024, the positive changes made and the partnerships we’ve built in the community.
We are especially grateful to our two major supporters: Gladstone Area Water Board and ConocoPhillips.
Here are some of the highlights from NFP House in 2024:
- Supporting over 120 community organisations across the year
- Reaching the delivery and completion of 70 organisational assessments/health checks
- Running 2 successful youth programs placing high-risk young people into volunteering
- Expanding our Workplace Volunteer Program with new organisations onboarded
- Continuing to lead with our NFP House Volunteer Portal which has been recognised by Volunteering Queensland as a market leading program
- Being sought out by regions outside of Gladstone for our services
Our staff took attendees through the programs and services we provide to generate and sustain volunteers and shared stories from some of the amazing community organisations we’ve worked with throughout the year.
